Water Drops

I found those water drops after while being on the round trip with our dog after heavy rainfall. There were those big leaves and they all have small water drops on their surface. But I needed to hurry as our dog was running through the plants destroying all those drops on the plants.

Exit the Dark

This picture is from within the Cave Cueva de los Verdes. Yes, it is in the cave and there is life as well. It on the way to the exit of the cave and one of the places, where the sun gets into the cave. And that's the reason, why you can find those big flowers as well. Walking through the dark the whole time and seeing the light through the big leaves is an extremely intense moment. Don't miss this while visiting the cave.

Fir Cone

The summer is not really over and the first fir cones lay in the grass. And even if we will have a wonderful week in greek in the next time, you know that the summer has come to an end. For those who have to stand up early in the morning feel, that the air gets fresh. But from a photographer point of view, this is the perfect time to make beautiful pictures of sunrises. The cold air together with some humidity and fog create perfect moments. Let's see if I can capture the perfect moment this year during the next month. What I know for sure, I will need to stand up early the next month.

Buttercup

Yet, another flower picture, exactly a buttercup. This time, from the garden of my parents in law. I'm still totally excited how well they included me in their family.

Snowball

Looks like I was taking a lot of pictures of flowers in the last years. This one is from the flower who look like a snowball. The flower actually is called guelder rose. Even if the flower is not fully white is really looks like a snowball. And the bush was full of them. Funny side story. The bush was next to a small pool and I could only take a picture with the sun on the flower while standing in the small pool.

Structure of a Leaf

If you have the sunlight behind a leaf, you can see the structure of the leaf. Taking the picture during sunset creates a very special light. If I plan a picture, most of the time I plan for sunset or sunrise, because of the special light during this time.

Banana Tree.

My parents have some banana trees in their garden and those trees have really large leaves. And if you have a bright light source, like the sun, behind the leaves you can see the great structure of the leaf.

Apple Blossom

Nice shot of some apple blossoms during last year spring in the garden of my parents. If everything goes well, I will be able to take this kind of picture in my own garden. We are currently preparing everything to build our own house next year. It takes a lot of my free time, so I'm not able to take a lot of new pictures. But fortunately, I have still a large number of older ones. I took the pictures during sunset to get a good light. But at the moment I do not have the time to stay up that early or stay awake that late to see the sunrise or sunset.

Peach Blossom

As I was a small boy, I planted a peach tree in my parents garden. And since then, my parents had a lot of peaches every year. And before you can eat a peach, the tree is having a lot of peach blossoms.

Acorn Fruit Cup

This time, I found an empty acorn fruit cup, on an old stump. The whole stump was covered with moss. The acorn fruit cup was empty and I could not find the acorn fruit. And sometimes this is like life. It feels empty. But as the missing acorn fruit, it is somewhere and maybe from the missing acorn fruit a new tree is growing. And this is like life again. It might feel empty, but it isn't. You are there and you could create wonderful new things to make life liveable.

Yellow Flower Power

I found the yellow flower in the hotel garden during our last trip to Crete. I#m not sure, what type of flower it is, but I think it could be an edible canna. But please let me know if you know what kind of flower it is. I found this flower as we were searching a good place for family pictures and honestly, this was the perfect spot. The light was good and the flower was more like a shrub. But the yellow flowers with the soft background made us very nice family pictures, for our small family.

Yellow Crocus

I think it was during the Easter holidays two years ago when I discovered this yellow crocus. There were a lot of snowdrops around the crocus but the warm yellow makes him very special between those white snowdrops. It was the first colorful flower in spring and if I remember correctly it was also the first warm day of the year. So we did a lot of outdoor activities and my daughter had to test how fast and high she can swing. It was too fast and too high for me, but my daughter and her grandfather enjoyed it a lot. I often remember my self to those peaceful times with her. She is growing to fast and I can only remind anybody, enjoy every moment with your kids, before they getting older and start to argue with you :)

Snowdrop

A snowdrop in late winter is like the new idea. And like an idea it starts with small green tips, coming through the snow. After some time they get bigger and stronger and finally they are there, fully grown with many many white flowers. Just like an idea, which starts small. But over time gets stronger, you invest more time and energy to make it real and in the end, you have reached your goal. And then, you look back and you see all the hard times on the way. But you know that it is worth it. You know that you have done this. You know that you can do it again. And you know, that you can reach everything which starts with a small idea. You start to ignore all those people, which do not support you or putting stones in your way. And you find people, which support you, which loves you and you will find one person which you will never let go.

New Flowers

New Flowers on the front entrance at my mother. They feel quite good there in the warm sun in early spring. They bring new colors after the grey winter.

Yellow Blossom

The first sign of spring. Yellow blossoms on a small tree. They look even better with the blue sky in the background. Normally they wouldn't be that big that early but that doesn't matter, because they looks so great.

Yellow Flower Part 2

If you have seen my last yellow flower picture, here is another one, from a different yellow flower. I found this one at a nother family party in the garden of my aunt. If was a big bush of yellow flowers, but thos one the picture where the most yellow ones.

Yellow Flower

I found this flower during a family party in the garden of my mother. Among others, the was the only yellow flower which was fully open and complete yellow.

Flowers on the Table

At our last family party, my wife did a great color composition for coffee table. The candle and the flowers on the table are matched to the colors around us. Well done.

Where is the Egg

Last year we started to search ester eggs outside with my little daughter and one of the eggs was hidden in one of the flowers. It took my little daughter quite long to find the egg but it was a big fun.

Colors of Autumn

As we did a walk with my little daughter during one of the last beautiful days in last autumn, I saw those trees in showing the beautiful colors auf autumn. They still resist to drop all of their leafs.
