Last picture from Venice. On our way back to the hotel I tried some pictures during the night. It was interesting to see the lights from the boats and ships on the channels.
On our last evening in this wonderful town, we searched for a calm place to enjoy the sunset together. We found one next to the Grand Canal. We sit there for at least an hour and just watched the water and sun going down over the roofs of the city. It was an amazing last evening, watching the sunset over Venice.
On the next day, we went over to Lido, which is an island between the Mediterranean Sea and the town of Venice. There is a wonderful beach and we took the time to have a long walk there. We were nearly alone, as the season was over, but the weather was awesome with a blue sky. All over the beach, you could find shells and sometimes those pieces of wood.
