This massive defensive wall belongs to the Arsenale di Venezia. Unfortunately, you cannot visit the Arsenale but walking along the defensive wall is very impressive. And you find a lot of canals here as well. I'm still totally impressed by how fast the people go by boat in these tiny canals.
My wife and I found a place near the breakers and enjoyed the sunset together. And of course, I took pictures. After we sit there for a while, the whole sky turns orange and the clouds started to glow. It was just a wonderful moment together with my soulmate. Moments like this you will never forget, because of the people around you and because of an empty battery.
On another day, I went in the dark to place in the Itter valley. My goal was to catch the sunrise and luckily it was a foggy morning. with good hopes of a great sunrise, I waited for several hours in dark and started taking pictures. This was my luck this morning, as the sun came very late and the fog was gone by that time. But I took this picture before the fog was gone and I love it.
